Olin was raised in the south and graduated from Appalachian State University before moving to Chicago. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Advertising and a degree in Theatre Arts, emphasis on Musical Theatre. He currently works as a Real Estate Broker in Chicago, as well as a professional singer and actor.

He is a founding company member of The Cabaret Project, LLC and for the past 15 years has been performing in multiple venues around Chicago as well Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri and Puerto Vallarta, MX.  In Chicago, the Cabaret Project has performed at Green Dolphin Street, Davenports, Circuit, The Center on Halsted, Mary's Attic, The Drake Hotel, Stage 773, The Peninsula Hotel, The Back Room, Uptown Underground, Newport Theatre and Vincent Chicago; as well as many underground performances, private parties, hotels, engagements and more. 

In 2012 Olin had a role in the film 'Scrooge and Marley' directed by Richard Knight. In 2013 he had the opportunity to work on the feature film 'Divergent', as well as being featured as a teenager on NBC's hit drama 'Crisis'. In 2014 and 2015, he worked on 'Chicago PD', 'Chicago Fire', 'Chicago Med', 'Batman vs. Superman' and miscellaneous pilots. He has also been featured in commercials for Taco Bell, RICOH, Jim Beam, and a Doritos Super Bowl submission. Outside of on-camera work, Olin worked on the crew for Chicago PD as a stand-in for 2 seasons. 

In 2017, the touring troupe Feathered Beaus was created. This 3 part male vocal ensemble stuns crowds with its dazzling display of sex appeal, vocal talents and humor. The group has been featured on local Chicago TV, ESPN, as well as worked with some of the biggest names in Cabaret around the U.S. Prior to his untimely death, the troupe was blessed to work with Leslie Jordan in his Chicago Christmas show. Olin has worked for 4 seasons on the Production Staff for Camp Wannakiki, a drag reality tv show and sand the theme song for 2 different seasons. In addition, he sang back up vocals on 2 studio albums in the mid 2010s.

Standing 4-5 inches shorter than most all male models, Olin has been lucky enough to break into the "modeling world" with his hair. He's worked locally with companies such as Bumble & bumble, Art & Science, Aveda, and American Crew as well as the International hair products company, Reuzel.

Outside of Real Estate, music, acting and showing off his locks, Olin plays softball, volleyball and tennis, loves boating, traveling and cooking, college football and is married and currently lives on the northside of the city.
